Converting PDF to Word can be a little too difficult if you haven’t done it before, but luckily enough, there are so many ways across the internet that can help you with such a task. But instead of losing precious time with various software, you can also convert PDF to Word files easily without apps.
You have to start by using any PDF reader to open the source PDF file. The next step is to open Microsoft Word and create a blank document. You’ll have to copy the text from the source PDF file and paste it in the blank document of Word’s window. When you paste, you have to choose to keep only the text and not the formatting. You may also be forced to remove some white spaces and adjust the paragraph.
You can also use Google Drive
There are several reliable alternatives to the method explained earlier, and one of them is through the Google Drive app. All you need is a Google account and to follow a few easy steps. However, you must remember that by using this latter method, you could lose some of the PDF formattings in the images that are PDF, but you’ll keep all of the text. After you open Google Drive, here’s what you need to do next:
- Go to ‘New’.
- Select ‘File upload’.
- Locate the PDF file that you want to convert and double click it.
- Wait a few seconds for the upload to finish.
- Right-click the freshly uploaded file.
- Go to ‘Open with’.
- Select ‘Google Docs’.
- Wait a few moments for the conversion to finish.
The next step will be to download the freshly converted file in order to upload it in Microsoft Word. For that, you’ll have to go to ‘File’, hover over ‘Download as’, and select ‘Microsoft Word’. What’s left is only to name the file as you wish and hit the save button. From that point, all you can do is open up the file from your computer with Microsoft Word.
If you choose the software method, Lua is the right tool for the job
There are plenty of reasons why a lot of people prefer the PDF format when it comes to text files. It doesn’t matter much what device you’re using and what operating system it has. PDF is easily accessible from the majority of them, and there’s not even a need to worry about the content getting altered. But even so, you may prefer keeping your files in DOC or DOCX format, and that’s where the online Lua app becomes useful. The online web tool can easily convert your PDFs at no charge and in literally seconds!
Furthermore, there’s no need to install any software, as the app will run directly in the browser. The interface is also very friendly and deductible, and in our case, all you need to do is locate the ‘PDF to Word’ option as you access the main page. The rest of the remaining process is even easier:
- Click that big ‘Choose PDF File’ button.
- If you don’t like the first step, you can also choose to simply drag and drop the wanted PDF file directly from your computer or smartphone.
- Wait for only a few moments until the compression gets the job done.
- Enjoy the freshly converted Word file!
Once you have made necessary changes, you can now convert the Doc to PDF. One golden rule of the online Lua app that you must remember is that any file you want to convert or modify doesn’t have to exceed 5MB. From that point, the rest of the process will be like a walk in the park.
