System Stability Test & Power Consumption
The biggest thing when it comes to getting a pre-built system like this is, is it stable? The AIDA64 system stability test puts full load on all of your components. We ran this test for 30 minutes and you can see the results here.

So first the system did pass the stability test. Most unstable systems restart or fail 5 minutes into the test. We do see the CPU reaching temperatures of around 90C. While this might seem high the 8700K with its two extra cores gets really hot, we actually covered this in our review of the 8700K. Also keep in mind this is 100% load put on all 8 cores of the CPU for a straight 30 minutes, even if you are gaming or encoding video you are not likely to reach this level of load.

Power consumption is obviously important to many users so we’ve included total power usage for the system. We uses a Kill-A-Watt to measure this. We took readings at idle (Windows 10 desktop), Gaming (running Heaven benchmark in a loop), and full load (running the AIDA64 system stability test.
