This year at CES we noticed a very interesting CPU cooler in Cooler Master’s suite, it was the MasterAir G100M. The reason this cooler really caught out attention was the unique design and RGB lights. The cooler more or less looks like a UFO with some awesome lighting. Under the hood the G100M uses heat column technology that is 7X larger than normal heatpipes, a circular fin design, and a top-down air flow 92 mm cooling fan. The smaller size of the cooler also makes it very viable for mini-ITX builds. Let’s get this cooler in our test system and see what it can do!
Special thanks to Cooler Master for providing us with the MasterAir G100M CPU Cooler to review.
The MasterAir G100M comes in a nice retail box. There is a picture of the cooler on the front and it lets us know that the cooler has RGB lights and that they are compatible with most motherboard RGB software.
On one side of the box you have some information on the heat column and RGB ring. On the opposite side there is a list of specifications as well as an overview of the dimensions of the cooler.
Getting everything out of the box you have the G100M CPU Cooler, mounting hardware, thermal paste, RGB controller, and instructions.
