Cooler Master MasterAir G100M CPU Cooler Review

Performance Testing
We installed the MasterAir G100M in our air cooling test system. It is made up of the following components.

Cooler Master MasterAir G100M CPU Cooler

Processor: Intel Core i3-7350K
Motherboard: ASUS Z170-A
Graphics Card: MSI GeForce GTX 770
Memory: 16 GB Mushkin DDR4
Power: Corsair RM650x
Storage: Crucial BX300 240GB
Cooling: Cooler Master MasterAir G100M

For comparison we will be testing the MasterAir G100M against the Scythe Grand Kama Cross 3 and LEPA NEOllusion RGB. Unfortunately since this is a new build we’ve only had these three coolers on hand for comparison testing. We will be adding more coolers to our results as they become available to us.

For testing we will first be taking our idle temperatures from the Windows 10 desktop after having the system on in an idle state for one hour.

Next we will be putting 100% load on the CPU using Prime95. We will run it and take a temperature reading at the 1 hour mark.

As you can see the cooler has the worst performance out of the three coolers we tested, but in no way is this horrible performance.
