Intel Core i9-9900K Processor Review

Video & Gaming Testing
We have added video and gaming testing to our CPU tests. We do this to see if there is a difference in overall gaming performance when using different processors.

First up we have 3DMark. From the 3DMark tests we will be recording to CPU or physics scores from the test. We will be running the Time Spy benchmark as well as the Fire Strike Ultra benchmark.

Now are will move on to Ashes of the Singularity. Here will be running the GPU Focused benchmark at the “Standard” quality setting. We will be running the benchmark at 1080P, 1440P, and 4K resolutions.

Batman Arkahm Origins is a game we typically use in our video card testing suite as it has a built-in benchmark. We are running the gaming with everything set at DX11 Advanced, once again we will be running this benchmark at 1080p, 1440p, and 4K resolutions.

We round out our gaming tests with The Division, which also has its own built-in benchmark. We run the game at the “High” quality preset with V-Sync turned off, and DX 12 turned on. We again run this at 1080p, 1440p, and 4K resolutions.
