Intel NUC 11 Extreme “Beast Canyon” Features Core i9-11900KB CPU

Recently, Intel listed their new 11th Gen Core Tiger Lake processors named KB series on its ARK specification website. They were described as desktop CPUs with mobile sockets. It is revealed that those KB series are for Intel’s upcoming Beast Canyon NUC 11 Extreme.

As per, @9550pro, KoolShare shared the photos on WeChat. The pictures showed the Intel NUC 11 Extreme system with the latest ‘Compute Elemenet’ installed. The PCIe-based Element comes with a built-in CPU, memory, storage, and networking. It can be called the heart of the NUC. It is a successor to the 9th Core Gen-based “Ghost Canyon” NUC.

Intel gave a preview of the Beast Canyon NUC during Computex but did not share any information on specifications or launch date. Except that it will be based on the Tiger Lake-H series CPU and will support a full-length discrete GPU. The 8-liter system is no longer considered a miniature PC, but it is surely one of the smallest PC replacements.
