Intel Plans to Discontinue Core i7-3820QM and i7-3720QM Processors

Everything has a set time of its own and when the demand for newer things arises, some changes have to be made accordingly to keep the market satisfied and also updated. This is exactly what Intel is trying to do with its new decision to no longer carry on with the production of the the 2.7 GHz Core i7-3820QM and 2.6 GHz i7-3720QM. It has finally been confirmed officially that Intel is going to discontinue these two quad-core Ivy Bridge mobile processors.

But the story doesn’t end here. These older models are being thrown into the back space because Intel wants to make more room for the Haswell-based chips which are becoming the new trend. For all those who think highly of these two mobile processors by Intel and still want to get their hands on it or were planning to do so in the near future should not be disappointed. Intel is not going to discontinue them right away; the Core i7-3820QM and i7-3720QM will be available to be ordered till the June of 2014.
