iRULU Walknbook 3 Hybrid Tablet PC Review

Final Analysis for the iRULU Walknbook 3
During this review, I have looked over other tablets of this variety that are currently available. They all have strengths and weaknesses and some are downright Cheapo with a Capitol “C” but the rule of “You get what you pay for.” is always sound advice in this market. However, the iRULU WalknBook seems to fit into the crowd with an impressive amount of accessories that bring the price point to where it is at $199.99. There are some good things and some not so good things about it but buying an i5 Microsoft Surface could set you back financially a lot more than this Hybrid Micro Laptop/Tablet. This tablet would be greatly suited for homework, reports, entertainment, and social media.

On the Good side, I love the detachable keyboard. It has the same feel as a standard mini laptop with a tight fitted tilting effect that allows the user to adjust the viewing angle from 180 degrees to fully closed. The Keys are tight and not for large fat fingers and the touch-pad is sensitive and has the ability to be pressed down like a button to navigate and press depending on your use.
The Price point is about the same as others but the quality of this Tablet looks and feels like it will last long after it has become obsolete. The WiFi connection is very good and detects the best signal speed for the task at hand for the job to preserve valuable battery life. As for the battery, it has a longer life lithium-ion power cell with the W1005 from 6800 to 7000mAh and this tablet has a real reputation for a long time between charges.

The parts that I wasn’t really excited about it was the heavy weight of this iRULU WalknBook. With the Keyboard attached, it weighs about the same as a mini laptop. The keys on the keyboard can take some getting used to but are very responsive with first touch action on every stroke, but little fingers are best suited for this keyboard. Also, the 3G option was never confirmed nor denied but I did not find a driver or a device in Speccy to show that it was there or not.

In this Review I give the iRULU Walknbook 3 Hybrid Tablet PC a strong 8 out of 10 for overall packaging, build quality and user experience. If you need a tablet on a budget the iRULU WalknBook 3 Hybrid Tablet and notebook is definitely one to consider.
