Kinivo URBN Headphones Overview
Kinivo offers the URBN in three different colors currently, we received the Candy Apple Red version, but it is also available in Graphite Grey and Midnight Black. The URBN headphones have a very cool and modern look to them. While they are on-ear headphone they are not overly large.
The headphones are designed with their man color on the outside and a black on the inside. On the headband there is some cushioning so these should be pretty comfortable ever after long hours of use.
The URBN headphones are designed to sit on your ears rather than over your ears. This should should actually help with comfort because the thing with on ear headphones is the actual earcups will irritate your ears after a while. The earcups on the URBN have nice comfortable covers on them and inside you have 40 mm drivers.
The headphones are adjustable, it seems the headphones are mainly made of heavy duty plastic, which is a bit disappointing.
All of the controls for the URBN are located on the right side of the headset. So starting on the back part if you were wearing the headset you have volume up and down as well as a power button slider.
Moving to the bottom you have the only two connections on the headphones which are a microUSB port for charging and a 3.5mm audio jack. In between them there is a indication LED for pairing etc.
Finally on the opposite side you have multimedia controls which include play/pause, back and forward. There is a small microphone on this side of the headphones as well so you can use it to take calls, etc.
Another great feature of these headphones is that you can easily fold them up. This means that they are going to take up much less space inside your bag.
This also makes them fit perfectly inside the included carrying case, which is actually quite nice. There is a little pocket inside where you can fit the two included cables and a few other goodies. The carrying case is very sturdy and has a carabiner on the end so you can easily connect it to your bag or other device.
