System Overview & Testing

We installed the THOR OC in our Z790 test system which is made up of the following components.

Processor: Intel Core i9-13900K
Graphics Card: MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio
Motherboard: ASRock Z790 Taichi
Memory: Lexar THOR OC DDR5-6000 32GB
Storage: Mushkin Gamma 2TB
Power: Corsair AX860i
Cooling: be quiet! Pure Loop 360mm
Case: Open PC Test Bench

Taking a look at CPU-Z we can see this memory is running at its XMP speeds of 6000 MHz with timings of 32-38-38-96. We can also see that the kit has both Intel XMP and AMD EXPO timings.

For testing we will run the memory at these settings using the below benchmarking software. Below is a list of benchmarking software that we use.
