Today, LG has released a new 27-inch 4K gaming monitor, 27GP950. It offers a 144Hz refresh rate using the DisplayPort and a 120Hz refresh rate through HDMI. A Nano IPS LCD panel is used, which offers a 1 ms response time and a wide color gamut of DCI-P3 98%.
The LG 27GP950-B has a 400 cd / ㎡ contrast ratio and a display color of about 1.07 billion colors. The monitor’s brightness is measured at 600 cd / ㎡ and offers a 178 ° horizontal/vertical viewing angle. It also comes with high dynamic range, VESA Display HDR 600, along with compatibility for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G. As far as I/O is concerned, the monitor offers 2 HDMI ports, 1 DisplayPort, 1 headphone output, and 3 USB3.0 ports out which two are located on the bottom and one on the top.
