The Stand
When I first looked at the stand I was like, “Is this really a stand?”, but it is. It is a foldable stand so what you need to do is find the button on the front and press it in.

Once you have it pressed in you can lift up the actual stand part. When you lift it up you will find a USB cable. You will need to plug that into your laptop in order to use the keyboard. The stand locks into place in the back, but there is only 1 position, I wish there would have been at least 1 more.

Also on the back of the stand you will find 2 USB ports, which is nice if you laptop does not have that many USB ports, so you at least have 2 more. On the front of the stand is the connect button which will help you get the keyboard connected to the receiver.

Once you get the stand setup you can place your laptop on it, plug in the USB cable and you are ready to go.

As I said Geeks.com also included the V220 cordless optical mouse as well. This normally does not come with the Alto. It is nice that they included it, as it give you a complete system with keyboard and mouse included. It comes with its own USB receiver.
