The next-generation of consoles is going to step up the race between Sony and Microsoft to a new level. Games division in a move to boost Xbox exclusives. Read on!

We had recently reported about the possibility of Xbox not revealing the price of the Xbox Series X at the upcoming July 23 event. Pricing is one of the biggest determinants in console sales. The other big factor is the number and quality of exclusive titles. Looks like Microsoft might have found a stepping stone for the solution to Xbox’s exclusive titles problem. The company is reportedly looking at buying Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, also known as WB Games.

WB Games has been behind a lot of successful franchises, notably the Batman, Lego, and Mortal Kombat games, to name a few. WB Games will also be distributing Cyberpunk 2077, which is set to be the hottest title of the year.

The talks about Warner Bros. trying to offload its game division started after it was acquired by AT&T. The acquisition is currently being valued in the ballpark of $4 Billion. Microsoft certainly has the money. However, other gaming giants like EA, Activision-Blizzard, and Take-Two Interactive Software might also be interested. Microsoft buying WB Games can be a big deal or the Xbox Series X.
