In the blog, MSI states that they are aware of the shortage of graphic cards and suggests that miners can opt for the laptop to mine cryptocurrency specially mentioning the GE76 raider laptop. It is powered by an Intel Core i9-10980HK processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics and MSI also showed its earning potential. The RTX-3080 based laptop achieved a hash rate of 52.8 MH/s while running the Excavator miner with the DaggerHashimoto algorithm. The performance is slightly above an RTX 2080 Ti, but it’s not even close to the performance of desktop RTX 3080, which achieves 95.7 MH/s.
