The MSI Titan 18 Pro Ryzen Edition has made a strong impact in the market, equipped with the high-performance AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D CPU and other premium features.

Although the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D is among the most powerful CPUs available, it hasn’t been widely adopted in the industry. This isn’t due to a lack of popularity but rather because manufacturers need to fully maximize other components to make the most of this CPU.

Despite being one of the most powerful CPUs available, AMD’s Ryzen 9 7945HX3D hasn’t been widely adopted in the industry. This isn’t due to a lack of popularity but because manufacturers need to optimize all other components to fully utilize this hardware.

MSI offers several Titan 18 models for consumers, with variations depending on the region. For instance, the Titan 18 HX includes Intel’s Core i9-14900HX. However, the latest Titan 18 Pro Ryzen highlights the best components from AMD. This laptop is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D CPU, featuring a 16-core, 32-thread configuration in a dual CCD layout. It boasts a boost frequency of 5.4 GHz, has a TDP of 55W+, and utilizes 3D V-Cache technology.

As a high-end product, it’s expected that the Titan 18 Pro Ryzen Edition includes NVIDIA’s RTX 4090 mobile GPU, and it does, so we won’t delve into that. The laptop features an 18-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2560 x 1600. It also offers a 240 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, providing top-tier quality for both hardcore gamers and professionals.

For connectivity, the laptop includes 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports and several other USB 3.2 ports, so there’s no shortage of options. However, it lacks USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 support due to the AMD platform, which might be a drawback for some users. The Titan 18 Pro Ryzen Edition is priced at 21,999 RMB, or $3,050, and is available on Chinese marketplaces, though global availability has not yet been confirmed.
