MSI Interceptor DS200 Overview
The MSI interceptor is one of the larger gaming mice that we’ve seen lately. It has an ergonomic design that is meant to maximize wrist comfort for house of gaming. While it is hard to tell from the photos the DS200 features an advanced non-slip coating, which gives you a better grip on the mouse itself.
Going over the mouse starting on the left side you have three programmable buttons (red) and there also is a larger thumb rest here. There is also a LED accent strip.
On the opposite side there are no buttons, but the mouse is designed to have another finger rest here for either your ring finger or pinky depending on your grip on the mouse. You will also see another LED accent strip.
On the top of the mouse you have your two main mouse buttons, the left mouse button is a bit longer than the right. In between them you have two smaller buttons which by default are DPI up and DPI down, but can be programmed to whatever commands you like. The scroll wheel is located towards the top of the mouse and features a rubber grip. Beside the left mouse button there is another programmable button.
At the front of the mouse are two more LED accent strips that are made in the shape of arrows.
There is a MSI dragon logo on the palm rest, which will light up when you power the mouse on.
Flipping the mouse over we find two mouse feet, the 8200 DPI laser sensor, a factory reset button and the adjustable weight system chamber.
The chamber easily comes out and allows you to install up to eight 2.4 gram weights inside.
The cabling on the mouse is nicely braided, which means it will not rip or tear. MSI has also added a gold-plated USB connector.
