Today, MSI has officially launched its latest Gaming Desktop PCs that house the Intel 11th Gen Rocket Lake CPUs along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 GPUs. The graphic cards have Resizable BAR support which provides a 5-10% performance increase.
MSI offers various variants under its 11th Gen Desktop Gaming PCs. The variants differ by size and configuration of 11th gen processors and graphic cards. Consumers can choose up to Intel Core i9-11900K Desktop and NVIDIA’s Geforce RTX 3090 graphics cards. The top of the line models are: MEG Aegis Ti5 and MEG Trident X. Both the models have an MSI Z590 motherboard which can support up to an Intel Core i9-11900K CPU & NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3090 graphics cards.
As for the sizes of the offered PCs, The Trident X has a Mini-ITX design where the PC casing measures 129×382 mm and weighs in at almost 6.5 kg. The PC also offers 2 DDR4 slots (up to 64 GB capacity support), 2 2.5″ drive bays & dual M.2 slots. MSI also offers the Trident X with the B560 motherboard which can support up to Core i7-11700 CPU and RTX 3070 graphics. The Aegis Ti5 on the other hand is the largest desktop in MSI’s lineup with a measurement of 551x239x511mm and 15kg weight.
Besides the MEG Aegis Ti5 and MEG Trident X, we also have the MEG and MAG Infinite where both of which are based on a standard ATX chassis that has a 42 L capacity and measures 210x450x488 with a weight of 10kg. The Infinite comes with the Z590 and H510 motherboard. The Z590 supports Core i9-11900K processor and RTX 3090. The Z590 also offers 4 DDR4 slots (up to 128 GB capacity support), 2 2.5″ & 1 3.5″ drive bays, & dual M.2 slots while the H510 supports Core i7-11700 and RTX 3060 Ti and offers 2 DDR4 slots (up to 64 GB capacity support), 2 2.5″ drive bays & a single M.2 slot.
Luckily, MSI has also provided us with some benchmarks of gaming PCs, in which the PCs were tested with the Resizable BAR support enabled and vice versa. Apparently, the feature does improve gaming performance.
As far as the pricing is concerned, each model’s price will vary as per the configurations chosen by the consumers.
