New Plextor 2.5 and M.2 TLC Variants Ready for Market

Traditionally Plextor hasn’t messed around with TLC nand in today that has changed. Due to some clever firmware Plextor has managed to squeese SLC like performance out of TLC nand and has dropped the brand new M7V SSDs on the market.

These drives are available in both M.2 PX-M7VG and 2.5 PX-M7VC form factors. These drives will be available in many capacities up to 512GB.

The use of TLC nand should mean that these drives are placed at a very reasonable price range. They are slated for release during Q1 of 2016 and pricing will be available closer to launch.
