To mark the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo launching a special edition of the Switch OLED. This special edition console will feature Zelda’s theme throughout, including on the dock and the Joy-con controllers. Additionally, Nintendo is developing Zelda-themed accessories like a Pro controller and a carrying case.
In terms of specifications, the Zelda-themed Switch is the same as the existing Switch console, with a 7-inch OLED display, adjustable stand, dock with LAN port, and 64 GB storage.
Starting April 28th, the Nintendo Switch The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition will be available to purchase for US$359.99. Furthermore, Zelda-themed accessories such as the Pro controller and the carrying case will be released on May 12th, the same date when Tears of the Kingdom will be launched.
It’s worth mentioning that Nintendo is not providing the entire package as a bundle, so the game must still be purchased separately from the console. The Zelda-themed Switch can be pre-ordered now on Best Buy, Target, and Nintendo.
