The price of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 has reduced to €1,859 from €1,949, while the price of a GeForce RTX 4080 has fallen to €1,399 from €1,469. These are the updated RTX 40 GPU costs for Europe, as listed on the official NVIDIA shop.
Due to the rising value of the Euro against the US dollar, the company was compelled to cut its pricing. This implies that the price reduction is not the consequence of the impending Radeon RX 7900 introduction.
The new pricing is in effect for Founder Edition GPUs purchased via official partners and for selected bespoke models. Prices for customized versions of the RTX 4080 and 4090 can reach a maximum of €1,410 and €2,100, respectively. The latter GPU remains far more popular among enthusiasts.
AMD is set to release the Radeon RX 7900 series next week, which will compete with the GeForce RTX 4080 at a lower price. This indicates that the RTX 4080 might experience another price decrease shortly.
