It also optimizations for  Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, Sants Row: The Third Remastered and SnowRunner. This is a good year for single-player, remastered and multiplayer. Notable fixes with the  with the 445.87 WHQL ‘Game-Ready’ GeForce Driver

Apart from in-game optimizations, it made certain fixes. The Blue Screen of Death crash problems with ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’ played on the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is foxed. The earlier driver had issues of random black flickering while playing ‘DOOM Eternal’. DX11 games were unplayable with Image Sharpening enabled via Nvidia Control Panel.

Inherited Issues

Nvidia did warn that there are some open issues inherited by this WHQL driver. ‘DOOM Eternal’ had corruption issues with Steam Overlay was brought up in-game in systems with SLI setups. There are also minor issues with Battlefield 5, Destiny,  Monster Hunter World Iceborne’ and Call of Duty Warzone. The rest of the changelogs can be read here.

.As one will expect, the newer driver will fix the issues caused or inherited by the older driver. So its usually considered a good idea to do a clean install of any driver.

There is an interesting issue with BenQ FP241W monitor which cannot display 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz. Nvidia specified the issue is with the monitor and not with the driver. It may seem odd why would people use this resolution on a 1080p monitor writing a paper. But I was told many Counter-Strike: Global Offensive gamers prefer that resolution.

The 45.87 WHQL ‘Game-Ready’ GeForce Driver is available for Windows 10 – 64 Bit and Windows 7 – 64-Bit.
