Average AMD Radeon RX 6000 GPU selling price has reached a record low in 13 months.
The GPU pricing normality path continues as per the latest 3DCenter.org GPU price report from Germany and Austria. According to the report, both NVIDIA RTX 30 and AMD RX 6000 cards prices have gone down in the past few months. The report also contains a cost trend for both GPU vendors as well as graphics card availability and Ethereum price in the specific time period. The report clearly depicts that the availability is better, whereas the cost is decreasing with time and has reached its lowest.
The latest pricing of GeForce, RTX 30 cards is now around 157% of MSRP. The difference is about 20% compared to January 23rd (at 177%). On the other hand, Radeon RX 6000 series has gone down to the lowest price since January 17th, 2021 at 145% MSRP,
This trend of decreasing costs is expected to continue. The reason for this trend is possibly the very good availability and relatively low value of Ethereum mining and its approaching proof-of-stake switch.
According to recent reports, the Radeon RX 6500XT and GeForce RTX 3050 are soon going to reach the advertised MSRP. RX 6500XT is expected to reach that status sooner.
