Testing
I ran a series of benchmarks to look at the bandwidth and latency of the OCZ Platinum DDR3-1600 Triple-channel 6GB kit. First I ran them at the advertised DDR3-1600 7-7-7-24, then at my overclock of DDR3-1872 9-7-7-24. Just for kicks, and to point out the bandwidth difference between dual-channel and triple-channel, I ran the same tests on my C2D rig running a DDR2-1600 dual-channel kit.

I really didn’t understand the higher latency with the OCZ memory at advertised settings, but when I rechecked it, it was the same. The latency at DDR3-1632 7-7-7-24 was 55ns.
