Patriot Viper RGB Overview
Taking a first look at the Patriot Viper RPG modules you can see that we received the white version, which is matched with a black PCB. Patriot also offers these modules with a black heatspreader and matching black PCB.
Centered on each module you have the Patriot Viper logo in silver, which just looks awesome. There are actually cut-outs for the eyes in which the RGB lighting will shine through. Besides that the main side of the modules are pretty plain.
Flipping the modules over there is a sticker on each telling us the part number, speed, timings and more. As a reminder this is the PVR416G300C5KW kit, which is a 16GB (2x 8GB) kit running at 3000 MHz with timings of 15-17-17-35 at 1.35V.
Taking a look at the modules from the side we can see the heatspreader and RGB diffuser extend past the modules. The modules are 45.4 mm thick so keep that in mind if you have a larger CPU cooler that extends over your memory slots.
As you saw in the previous photos the RGB diffuser that Patriot is using angles up each corner to add that sort of Viper effect. We are all for this as there are too many just plain flat RGB modules out there. Centered on the diffuser is the Viper name in text, which will let everyone know you are rocking Patriot Viper memory.
