Raidmax Agusta Case Review

Raidmax Agusta Case Raidmax Agusta Case

While most of the case makers out there have gone for the more sleek and subtle design for their cases, Raidmax is always a company we can count on for some pretty extreme case designs. Today we are talking a look a look at their Agusta case. This case has a sort of transformer-like design to it, which looks awesome. On top of that it has a dual chamber design with the 3.5-inch / 2.5-inch drive trays on the bottom of the case. This not only makes room for watercooling inside the main compartment of the case but keeps the heat generated by your hard drives in a separate compartment. Other features include USB 3.0 support, six included fans and tool-less installation systems. Read on as we take a look…

Special thanks to Raidmax for providing us with the Agusta Case to review.

Packaging
The Agusta comes in a nice retail box with a large photo on the case on the front. On the back it goes into detail on some of the main features of the case.

Opening the box up we can see that the case is nicely protected by 2 large pieces of styrofoam. Getting it all out we can see there is a felt bag actually covering the case.

  1. I agree with the review, but it does have several other issues besides those pointed out, it needs another USB 3 port. Having only one is silly. Also in this day and age one could only have USB 3 ports (they are backward compatible for USB 2 devices) and also have an adapter for people that only have a USB 2 motherboard. Water cooling could be an issue, with a 120mm radiator having a tight fit on top. Also a case like this needs a big window, as this is the target market and not another silly fan hole.
