Sabrent, a US-based company, has launched the DS-T4WA, a display arm that includes a docking station with Thunderbolt 4 support. This new product is designed to improve workstation setups by merging various functions into a single, efficient unit.
The base of the DS-T4WA offers a wide range of connections: two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, an HDMI 2.1, a Gigabit LAN port, a 3.5mm audio jack, an SD/microSD card reader, a USB Type-A (5Gbps/5W PD compatible), a USB Type-A (10Gbps/7.5W PD compatible), and two USB Type-C ports (10Gbps/15W PD compatible). These ports enable the connection of up to three displays, making it a flexible solution for multi-monitor setups.
The arm uses a gas spring mechanism and supports VESA mounts of 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm. It can hold up to 10 kg and is compatible with displays up to 32 inches. Additionally, users can buy an optional arm to mount a second display, increasing the docking station’s versatility.
The DS-T4WA comes with a 700mm Thunderbolt 4 cable and an AC adapter that provides up to 130W of power (24V/5.41A), ensuring ample power for connected devices. It is available for direct purchase at a price of $349.99.
