First Look
Appearance-wise, the Seasonic X series isn’t anything flashy. It’s a black box with gold (likely a nod to its 80PLUS Gold certification) and white trim and text where necessary. The output chart is on the outward facing side, and the several connectors are on the business end. The inward facing side has a giant X logo.
The rear is has hexagonal, honeycomb grating for the best airflow possible. The bottom is also honeycombed, but has a 120 mm intake fan with a Seasonic logo at the center.
In addition to the standard 20+4 pin motherboard adapter and 4-pin and 8-pin CPU adapters, the X series 650W has modular cables for eight 4-pin device connectors, eight SATA connectors, two floppy connectors, and four 6+2-pin PCI Express connectors.
