Select NVIDIA RTX 30 Models Have Seen An 88% Increase Over MSRP

We can see the fresh outlook of the prices from both NVIDIA and AMD in the latest pricing report of GPU from Germany and Australia. These reports are based on the cards released until March so the graph doesn’t include the SKUs such as Radeon RX 6600 series and GeForce RTX 3070Ti/3080Ti. Taking this into consideration,  it can be observed that the AMD RDNA2 GPUs are twice as expensive as MSRP(101%) while the NVIDIA RTX 30 models have reached an increase of 88% over MSRP. MSRP prices have increased by  16%  than that mentioned in the October 10 listing.

It has been noted by 3D Center that the current market situation is not a healthy one. We can find certain cut-down models like RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT higher than the flagship RX 6900 XT. If we talk about extreme cases, we can find NVIDIA models such as GeForce RTX 3070Ti with a price of over 2000 EUR and GeForce RTX 3090 for around 4030 EUR.

An increase of 18% has been seen in the prices of AMD GPU between October 10 and October 29 while an increase of 16% has been observed in NVIDIA. Analyzing the overall situation, cards from both vendors have gone up in price continuously since their lowest point on July 4th. This is a double digit increase in less than a month.
