The PM01 is a full tower chassis that has been one of Silverstone’s most popular lately. Updating it this year to add a few modern touches we now have the PM01-FX and PM01-RGB.
As well as adding an RGB strip to the bottom inside of the case you get three RGB fan grills that allow you to use any fan you like and still get on RGB effect. This is nice for system builders that have specific fans they prefer to use but still want to have lighting in the fan area.
You will also notice that the standard side panel has been replaced by a smoked tempered glass panel that is attached with thumb screws. Another change to the case is the ability to put 2 140mm fans or a water cooler in the top under the cover. The FX version of the case comes with a screen printed graphic on the back panel. Behind the panel you will find an updated PWM fan hub as well as an LED hub that allows you to control all the connected lights.
The PM01-FX and -RGB are both set to be available in February for $160 and $150 respectively.
