There are sure a lot of choices when it comes to iPhone cases and believe me there are a lot of garbage cases out there, just go to your local mall to one of those stands and you will see what I mean. During CES this year I was introduced to Speck, a company who makes stylish cases and bags for many portable devices and laptops. The one case that really caught my eye at the show was the Fitted iPhone Case. Speck was nice enough to send one along for review, so let’s see if this Fitted case is a good mix of style and protection for your iPhone.
Special thanks to Speck for providing us with the Fitted iPhone case to review.

Packaging
The Fitted case comes in a very attractive retail case. The front is clear so you can take a look at the case. The back is also open and there is a diagram of how the case goes on your iPhone and that you are able to connect the iPhone cable and headphones to the phone while the case is on.
The retail package has a set of buttons on the top which open it up. Inside we find the Fitted case nicely protected by a plastic case.
First saw this case at Meijer and paid $35 for it because my Moshi iPhone case cracked. I was in a hurry to purchase a case for protection and now I'm sorry I paid so much when it is offered for $15 less at Amazon. Live and learn, as usual. Does anyone know if the fabric cleans well and, if so, what did you use? I can't find anything online about cleaning. Are there other users that can share what they use to clean the fabric?
I would not recommend the speck fitted fabric case to anyone considering it. I've had my purple plaid fitted case for 13 days and the fabric is already fraying at the edges, the plastic on the front is chipping, and the right (non-button) side tends to come loose. I can't argue that it's a stylish case, but it's not going to look good for long at the rate it's deteriorating!
I really like these cases. I like the cross hatch look and feel and the colors that blend together in the argyle look. I also found this review quite helpful for the iPad speck cases:

Speck cases are an expensive peice of junk. I had purchased one because I wanted to make sure my phone was really well protected. I ended up having 3 in 3 months because the first two were faulty and I was given a replacement both times under warranty. 3rd one seemed fine… I dropped my phone on tiles back side up and my screen cracked. I didn’t understand how the screen could crack when it didn’t even land on it. Anyway i will never buy another one and do not recommend them.
