Steam has revealed the games that have sold the most on their platform in 2019. While these games will give you a good idea of what the best selling PC games were for the year, Steam’s own numbers do not represent the entire PC market as there are other digital storefronts like Origin, Epic Games Store, GOG, and more. Steam’s list includes different tiers and is measured by gross revenue in 2019, this not only includes game sales, but in-game purchases as well.
The top tier is Platinum, where you’ll find games like Monster Hunter World, DOTA2, Warframe, PUBG, and even GTAV.
Under Platinum you have Gold where you have Rocket League, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Devil May Cry 5, and even Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. It is pretty impressive that Star Wars is on this list as it came out later in the year and does not have any DLC or paid content.
The last tier we’ll talk about is Silver where games like Red Dead Redemption II, Euro Truck Simulator, Borderlands 2, and Risk of Rain 2 reside.
