The Intel Core i7-12700H is 25-30% Faster Than the Ryzen 7 5800H

Results of single and multi-threaded tests show that the upcoming Intel Core i7-12700H is 25%/35% faster than Ryzen 7 5800H.

A user named 金猪升级包 posted the synthetic benchmark scores of the Alder Lake mobile processor on Weibo. The person reportedly has access to the 12th Gen Core-based laptop and also Intel reference benchmark results.

This mid-range processor has a base clock of 3.5 GHz and a boost clock of 4.7 GHz. It is 300 MHz slower than the flagship Core i9 parts.

This SKU is expected to be seen in many gaming systems, in combination with RTX 3060/3070 series graphic cards. It is said to compete with the supposedly slower AMD Ryzen 7 5800H SKU.

Single and multi-threaded benchmark tests show Intel Core i7-12700H to be 24.78% and 34.62% faster respectively in comparison with the mid range Ryzen 7 5800H processor. Ryzen 7 5800H features 8 cores and 16 threads.
