Thermaltake Core P6 TG Overview
The Core P6 TG is a rather large case with official dimensions of 565 x 255 x 530mm and weighing in at just under 40 lbs without any hardware inside! We received the White (Snow) version of the case, but it is also available in Black, Turquoise, and Racing Green.
Starting at the front of the case we have a large tempered glass section. Behind this glass you’ll find a cooling bracket that supports up to three 120 mm fans or radiators up to 360 mm. On the right side of the front panel are all of your buttons and controls. There are power and activity LEDs, a large power button, two USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, headphone and microphone jacks, and a small reset button.
Moving up to the top of the case we have another tempered glass panel, which also covers a cooling bracket. The bracket has the same cooling support at the front bracket so three 120 mm fans and radiators up to 360 mm. There is a magnetic filter on the top of the case as well.
The main side panel of the case is a tempered glass panel. It is worth noting that the tempered glass used on this case is 4 mm thick. This panel exposes pretty much everything inside your case and has rounded corners. It is held in place by large knobs in each corner.
The case has a sort of built-in holder for the panel towards the bottom of the case so you don’t accidently drop it. The case itself sort of sits on a stand that lifts the case off the ground enough for proper airflow through the bottom of the case.
Moving around to the back of the case we have a pretty standard layout with a fan placement (120mm) towards the top, our expansion slots, and then the power supply mount at the bottom.
The opposite side panel of the case is the only one that is made of steel. There is a large ventilated section that is for the interior cooling mount on the case. The VESA wall-mounting hole that we saw on previous Core series cases are there if you still wanted to mount this case to your wall.
