The Alder Lake-HX CPUs were announced by Intel last week. The new CPUs are the BGA version of the desktop series and will feature up to 16 cores. ASUS is one of the first laptop makers in the market that will announce its laptop featuring the HX CPUs Wells others will follow. This announcement will be made tomorrow at the company’s Boundless event.
There is more news regarding the HX; according to ITHome, ASUS is giving an HX upgrade to the ROG Strix Scar 15. This is the top gaming system from ASUS and currently comes features a Core i9-12900H 14-core CPU and the RTX 3080 Ti GPU for laptops with clock speeds of 150W. We can see from the advertisement that the updated CPU is going to boost a turbo clock of up to 5.2 GHz and surprisingly this is even higher than the official specs we have received from Intel.
ITHome is reporting that ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is getting an upgrade to the HX series. This is ASUS’s top gaming system, currently shipping with up to Core i9-12900H 14-core CPU and RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU with TDP at 150W.
