Gamescom is one of the biggest events for game developers besides E3 and this years event will be talking place August 21st in Cologne, Germany. An interesting development surrounding Gamescom has occurred, Valve has confirmed they will be at the show exhibiting and showing off a new game.
I know many people are thinking Half-Life 3 finally! But we really do not think this is the case. Valve being at the show is rather exciting news though, as its been quite some time since Valve released a game.
Recently Valve purchased Campo Santo (best known for Firewatch) to start their game development again. Campo Santo was working on a game called “Valley of Gods”, maybe that’s what Valve plans to show?
Besides that we could see Left 4 Dead 3 or Dota 3. I’m still saying there is now way it’s Half-Life 3, but who knows. What do you guys think?
