Viotek GN24C 24-inch Curved 1080p 144 Hz Monitor Review

Viotek GN24C Monitor Overview
The Viotek GN24C is designed exactly like its larger brother the GN27D, as a gaming monitor. We have an all black design, which is going to look great on your desk. Viotek is using a 24-inch Samsung VA panel with this display. You’ll notice the slim bezels on the sides of the display, I am a big fan of this design.

Besides the Viotek logo at sits in the center of the bottom bezel the only other markings on the front of the display are for your controls, which are on the far right. The control buttons are actually located under the display, making them easy to access and not destroying the great look of the front of the display with buttons.

If we look at the display from the side we can see that it is not all that thick, so it is not going to take up a whole lot of space on your desk. The 1800R curve on the display is definitely noticeable.

Viotek uses the same stand design that we saw on the GN27D, but in this case the stand was quite wobbly, which did raise some concern. I don’t know if the holes were not threaded correctly, but when you pick up the display the stand wobbles. This is different from the stand on the GN27D, which was very sturdy. When the display is sitting on the stand there are no issues though.

Looking at the back of the monitor there is a large Viotek logo in the center. You do have two back-firing speakers, which I don’t assume any of you will be using.

The connections are up under the display, they include your power connection, a single DisplayPort connection, HDMI 2.0 port, and HDMI 1.4 port.
