Windows Blue Screen of Death Replaced by the Black Screen of Death

It looks like we are going to see another new change in Windows 11. In the latest Windows 11 preview the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) is now the Black Screen of Death.

The Blue Screen of Death has been included in Windows since Windows 1.0 in 1985. Over the years it has been updated with various changes like adding error codes, the sad face, and most recently in 2016 QR codes.

The introduction of the Black Screen of Death seems like an update to better match modern systems. Its functionality (at least right now) seems to be the same as the Blue Screen of Death we are all used to.
