ZALMAN has launched the Z10 DS, a mid-tower PC case featuring a 15.6-inch full HD LCD on its front panel. Announced on July 26, 2024, this case is designed to enhance user experience with its innovative display. The LCD display is detachable and allows users to showcase videos and images. It offers a 170° viewing angle, 250cd/㎡ brightness, 30ms response time, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The display also has a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and covers 45% of the NTSC and 62% of the sRGB color gamuts. For connectivity, it includes mini HDMI and USB Type-C ports.
Apart from its display features, the Z10 DS is highly adaptable for hardware setup. It has two 2.5-inch and two 3.5-inch shadow drive bays. There are also seven primary expansion slots and three auxiliary slots. The cooling system supports various fan configurations: three 120/140mm fans at the front (with two 120mm fans pre-installed), three 120mm or two 140mm fans on top, one 120mm fan at the rear (including a 120mm ARGB fan), two 120mm fans at the bottom, and two 120mm fans on the side.
The case can fit graphics cards up to 395mm long, CPU coolers up to 173mm tall, and power supply units up to 200mm deep. It supports ATX, MicroATX, and Mini-ITX form factors. The Z10 DS measures 220mm in width, 474mm in depth, and 488mm in height, and weighs 9.5kg. For users who want to remove the LCD display, the case includes a stand to use the display separately as a mobile device and a replacement front cover to fill the gap.
