ZONE Gaming Handheld With 7-inch AMOLED Display Teased By ZOTAC

ZOTAC has teased its new gaming handheld, the ZONE, which will be fully showcased at Computex. Although details are sparse, the company has confirmed that it will feature a 7-inch AMOLED display. This distinguishes it from other premium models like the ROG Ally, Legion Go, and MSI Claw, which lack OLED screens, placing it alongside the Switch and Steam Deck in offering such a display.

The ZONE will feature 2-stage adjustable triggers and a distinctive backside design, complete with an RGB LED strip and extra buttons, highlighting ZOTAC’s unique design approach. The front of the handheld resembles other devices on the market. Additional details are anticipated as the launch date nears.

ZOTAC intends to display “functional prototypes” of the ZONE at Computex, suggesting the product is not yet launch-ready. While details are limited, it is rumored that ZOTAC may be utilizing Intel hardware, given the company’s extensive line of Mini-PCs based on Intel technology.

The device might include Core Ultra 100 or 200 series processors, particularly as Intel is expected to update on the Lunar Lake architecture at Computex.

However, another report from ComputerBase claims that ZOTAC will use AMD Ryzen APU in its first gaming handheld. More information is anticipated during the event, which should provide a clearer picture of what the ZONE will offer to the gaming handheld market.

Ever since the establishment of the ZOTAC GAMING brand, we have strived to provide an unmatched gaming experience for enthusiasts worldwide. We have made considerable efforts to raise the bar with our debut handheld, tailor-made with competitive features for all gamers.”
