Acer Announces The Predator Orion 7000 Gaming PC With 12th Gen Intel CPUs

Acer has just announced its latest line of The Predator Gaming PCs. It is to be launched next year as confirmed by Acer . The Acer Predator Orion 7000 is the first PC gaming rig featuring Intel’s newest 12th Gen Alder Lake CPUs. At the start of the year, 2022 shipments will be sent to China, Europe, and the Middle East, the United States will get the gaming PC by the end of the coming year.

The much-awaited Acer Predator Orion 7000 features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 and 3090 GPUs. The rest of the upcoming gaming PCs from the company will employ new improvements for Acer. It is reported that the company will use up to 64GB of DDR5-4000 RAM. The Predator Orion will be PCIe Gen 5.0 compatible. Other features include up to two 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD memory modules. The “hot-swappable” hard drive bay with a 2.5-inch drive is also expected.

Acer’s in-house Predator FrostBlade 2.0 cooling fans will be used in the Predator Orion 7000. It is expected to be equipped with 2, 140 mm fans at the front and one 120 mm at the back for heat exhaust. Also, at an event in the United Kingdom,  Acer showcased a model that contained a 240 mm AIO.

The chassis will be free of using any hardware that would require tools, optioning for a better access to inside the gaming rig. The new Predator Orion 7000 measures 19.8 x 19 x 86 inches, and is ornamented with aRGB lighting on the motherboard, cooling fans, and the water cooling pump through the tempered glass panel of the case located on the side.
