One of Videocardz’s readers tipped them a picture of a Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card.
The render seems to be accurate since the card looks similar to the one AMD presented at the CES 2021. At CES 2021, AMD promised new desktop and mobile RDNA2 graphics solutions, including mysterious dual-fan and single-fan models. AMD launched the dual-fan Navi 22 based card in March: Radeon RX 6700 XT; however, we still await a single-fan version.
Since CES 2021, AMD has introduced three Navi 23 products: Radeon RX 6600M, Radeon Pro W6600, and Radeon Pro W6600M. Sadly, AMD failed to fulfill its promise of a single-fan card.
Videocardz has received a new render which shows a small graphics card, probably a Mini-ITX form factor with a single 8-pin power connector. The card has a black and silver design with a red accent on the side, just like other cards in the RDNA2 lineup.
Both the XT and non-XT variants of AMD Radeon RX 6600 will have a Navi 23 GPU and up to 8GB of GDDR6 RAM. The RX6600 XT variant will house 2048 Stream Processors, while RX 6600 might have 1792 cores, the same count as the mobile gaming variant. A mobile gaming variant has already been tested, but there are not many details on desktop parts yet. We are expecting better power efficiency and relatively high clocks compared to other Navi2X GPUs.
Although the Videocardz source says that this is the RX 6600 XT’s press photo, there is no news of any embargo on these products yet.
