AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Now Discounted To $889

Lately, there have been notable changes in the graphics card market, particularly concerning the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT models. Prices have been steadily declining, which is advantageous for consumers. Although there have been occasional instances of the RX 7900 XTX being offered at reduced prices, these opportunities typically arise as short-lived flash sales that we frequently miss covering.

Newegg has just announced a substantial price cut for the AMD flagship Radeon RX 7900 XTX model, dropping it from $949 to $889. This represents the first instance of Newegg offering the XTX model at this price.

The featured card is the Hellhound by PowerColor, positioned in the mid-tier range of product offerings, bridging the gap between the high-end Red and Liquid Devil series. Despite this, it surpasses AMD’s reference design, also provided by PowerColor.

It’s important to mention that it’s not only the Hellhound by PowerColor that is falling below the $900 threshold. The ASRock Phantom Gaming variant is now priced at $900 without requiring any coupon codes. Furthermore, both XFX and Sapphire models are approaching the $900 mark, with only a $20 difference compared to the most budget-friendly option.

The XTX model is now mirroring its XT counterpart, which is readily available at $699 following a recent official discount to $729. Although AMD hasn’t confirmed a price adjustment for the 7900 XTX, board partners are taking the initiative without waiting for official discounts.
