AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS and Radeon RX 6800S Shows Up In Leaked Benchmarks

New leaked benchmarks show AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS and Radeon RX 6800S. AMD has still not released its mobile CPU series even after two weeks of the initial exposure of independent Ryzen 7 6800H laptop testing.

Considering the frequent leaks showing AMD Rembrandt laptops and information provided by BenchLeaks, the launch is expected to occur soon. Official AMD Ryzen 6000 series laptops are set to launch in February 2022, but the company has not given a specific date.

Someone has recently tested the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop equipped with Ryzen 9 6900HS and Radeon RX 6800S, which are not available in any other product.

The PugetBench Photoshop test shows that the 6900HS+6800S combination actually offers better performance than Intel Core i9-12900H+RTX3080, which makes it worth mentioning because the AMD processors are custom power-limited chips.

Both AMD and ASUS have worked together to prepare a new 14-inch ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop. The 6000-series model is the 3rd version with superior hardware specs and built quality. The Geekbench database claims that the AMD Rembrandt-based model offers ~5% and 20% better performance than its successor with 5900HS.

The Ryzen 9 6900HS is the slowest 8-core and 16-thread Ryzen 9 CPU in the Zen3+ lineup. This 35W CPU offers a base clock of 3.3 GHz and boosts up to 4.9 GHz. This is probably right as the Geekbench leak indicates a maximum clock speed of 4.86 GHz.
