More than two months after unveiling their new Zen5-based processors, AMD has officially released the pricing. No longer reliant on speculative figures from various retailers, the confirmed prices range from $279 to $649.
The 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X will be priced at $649, while the 12-core 9900X will cost $499. The 8-core 9700X and 6-core 9600X will be priced at $359 and $279, respectively, as previously reported by major US retailers.
Interestingly AMD’s new desktop processors are priced $20 to $50 lower than the previous generation. However, the launch dates remain unchanged, with the Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9500X releasing on August 8th, and the Ryzen 9 9900X and 9950X following on August 15th. Additionally, no 800-series motherboards will be available at the time of launch.
Remember, AMD will lift the embargo on the initial reviews today, covering the 9700X and 9600X models.
AMD Ryzen 9000 Series processors are ready to deliver world class gaming and creator performance.
