ASUS ROG Rampage IV Black Edition Breaks Five Overclocking World Records

Five overclocking world records were broken by the ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Rampage IV Black Edition. ASUS, the leading multinational of computer hardware and other electronics, hosted an event in San Francisco along with Corsair and Intel where the Rampage IV black Edition was paired with other high end components and was given the highest scores in five different areas.

The Rampage IV Black Edition was harmonizing with the GetForce GTX Titan graphics cards by ASUS and the latest fourth generation processors by Intel; the Core i7 Extreme Edition processor. Also incorporated in this was the Vengeance Extreme and Dominator Platinum DDR3 memory by Corsair, which is one of the world’s leading companies for computer peripherals. The record breaking scores were recorded under five different fields and this was confirmed by the members of the international community of overclocking who worked alongside the ROG engineers. The members from the international community included 8Pack, Dumo, Gunslinger, Fugger and Rbuass.

The five record scores were achieved in:

• 3DMark 11Entry, with a score of E38231
• 3DMark 11 Performance, with a score of P38227
• Quad-channel memory frequency, with the highest score of 3,900MHz
• Cinebench with points of 17.65
• 3DMark Fire Strike with 32268 points
