ASUS will launch its Z690 motherboards in November. A wide range of ASUS Z690 motherboards including TUF, ROG Maximus, ROG Strix, and Prime have been listed by Canadian hardware retailer, PC Canada.
The flagship series ROG Maximus starts for 755/789 CAD(599/625 USD). The only board to have been listed as of now is the Hero. This hints at the launch of other Maximus boards by ASUS at a later date.
Almost all other Z690 motherboards may be available at lower prices than the Z590 series. This may be subjected to the type of model. So far, only the TeamGroup’s DDR5 memory has been listed for more than 300 USD. This amount is approximately double the cost of the investment that one requires to switch next-gen.
Intel will be launching its Alder Lake-S CPUs on November 4th. The Z690 motherboard sales are also expected to go live by this date. The retailers will start taking pre-orders from October 28th, immediately after Intel will introduce the all new series officially.
