Case Mod Friday: Open Air

Project Name: Open Air

Tell us a little about your case / case mod?
I wanted something to showcase the internals of the system, but not not look like most open test benches. I love wood and acrylic both and they work together beautifully.

– AMD Phenom II x4 965
– 2 x 2GB Corsair Dominator DDR3
– Gigabyte HD6950
– Thermaltake SpinQ VT CPU cooler
– Kingwin Mach 1 1000-watt PSU
– Corsair Neutron 120GB SSD
– 2 x WD Green 1TB HDD

List of Custom Modifications
Scratch-built case made from red oak and tinted acrylic. Optical drive bay cover and eject button made from red oak.
