If there is one thing that has become incredibly popular over the past year it is all-white builds! Sadly though, one of our favorite cases of the year, the be quiet! Dark Base Pro 901 was not available in white at launch. Well that is going to change as be quiet! will not only be launching a white version of their Dark Base Pro 901, but another case and you’ll see white versions of their fans as well. We were able to check out all of these new white products in person at be quiet’s suite at CES 2024!
Dark Base Pro 901 White
This of course is be quiet’s flagship PC case and has so many features. Some include interchangeable covers for either silent or maximum airflow, support for E-ATX motherboards and radiators up to 420mm, a motherboard tray that can be flipped, and so much more! One thing to note about the attention to detail on the white version is that pretty much everything is white down to even the cabling. The case will also ship with three Silent Wings 4 White fans. Pricing will be the same as the black version ($299.90) and you’ll be able to pick this case up in March.
Dark Base 701 White
be quiet! will also be offering up a white version of their Dark Base 701 case. While the Dark Base 901 White is pretty much identical to its black counterpart, the white version has a slight change. They have made the diffusers on the front a bit wider for a more pronounced look. This case has a mesh front for a high-airflow design, supports an inverted motherboard layout, has a ton of different cooling options, and will ship with three Silent Wings 4 White PWM fans. This case will have a $10 premium over the black version of the Dark Base 701 so it is going to be $239.90 and will be available in March.
New White Fans
Also getting the white treatment will be be quiet’s range of fans including the Silent Wings Pro 4, Silent Wings 4, and Pure Wings 3. All of these fans will be available in both 120 and 140mm versions with the Pure Wings 3 White and Silent Wings 4 White having high speed versions as well. The Silent Wings Pro 4 White and Silent Wings 4 White will be available in March, while the Pure Wings 3 White will be available at the end of January.
12VHPWR 90-degree Cable
be quiet! also was showing off a new 12VHPWR cable that features a 90-degree angle on the connector for easier cable management with any ATX 3.1 power supply (ATX 3.0 as well). This cable is rated for 600W and does feature individually sleeved cables. This cable will be available this month for only $16.90!
