While AMD released their Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT cards earlier this month they were only made available in AMD’s reference design. Many gamers have been waiting for custom-designed cards from AMD’s add-in board partners. ASRock already announced their challenger series, but it has been pretty quiet otherwise. Well a custom-designed card from XFX has been spotted!
XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT
Let’s start with the XFX variant, which XFX actually posted on their official Weibo account. This card features a dual-fan design with a black shroud. The card looks very similar to the company’s Double Dissipation series, with a larger shroud. Under the shroud you have a bulky aluminum heatsink.
Expreview actually got their hands on this card and were able to reveal more details, like dual 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors, and a full-cover backplate with XFX branding on it. It also appears to have an XFX logo on the side, which should light up when in operation. No other information available on this card except it will be available in mid-August.
