Final Thoughts
The ECBC Pegasus has a lot of great features and it is one of the only bags like this that is designed to carry both your electronics and clothes. Many people who are on weekend-type trips will really enjoy this because they don’t necessarily need to bring two bags, just the Pegasus that will hold their laptop and other electronics and well as having room for clothes.
It is not a bad thing that the bag looks great as well. The Blue Pegasus that we received looked so much better than the plain black luggage bags we see all of the time. It also comes in many other different colors to choose from. As a luggage bag it is quite functional as it is wheeled, has a retractable handle, two large carrying handles and of course the YKK zippers. Since it is made of Nylon it is water resistant as well. Is a backpack for suitable for you? Just unpack the hidden backpack straps and transform it into a backpack.
The Pegasus has room inside for up to a 15-inch laptop, but for me the protection was not enough. The laptop compartment was not really lined that thick, especially considering it is on the outside of the bag. On top of that the strap at the top of the compartment cannot be secured tightly, even with the included modular insert installed. This means that your laptop could move around a bit, which is never a good thing. The great thing about the Pegasus though is that it is TSA safe, which means you do not have to remove your laptop from the bag when going through secuity at the airport. The Pegasus has quite a lot of room inside for other electronics including a dedicated tablet compartment and you can’t forget it comes with the 4500 mAh portable battery pack.
I think that the Pegasus is going to become my new go-to carry-on! The one I typically use is not made for electronics and does not have all of the features that the Pegasus does.
